Assalamu alaikum,
To the question of "Why Do We and the universe exist",
the answer is simple. WE AND the UNVIVERSE EXIST
because that's the way Allah(The God) manifests
Himself!. His presence. His might. His wills.
Let's bring this matter closer down to earth.. take
electricity for example.. we don't see electricity
moving in the wires even though we know it is there,
dont we?. To make electricity's presence discernible
to our senses(ie manifests itself) we have to place in
its path a light bulb or an electric iron or
television or a radio or voltmeter/anmeter..and so on.
Thru these elements will the electricity manifests
itself.
Same goes with the existence of us and the universe.
It is for the manifestation of the God's presence.
{This has been purposely written in english, in case
someone wants to relay it to stephen hawkins}
