Weapons can be sent to Zionists Israelis but not to the defenceless Palestinian people. Terrorists demand that weapons are not to be sent to the terrorised. This is the so called western justice. This is another proof that the war is not against terrorism but Islam. Proof me wrong! US Says Credible Evidence Links Palestinian Authority to Weapons Ship VOA News 8 Jan 2002 22:03 UTC The Bush administration says it accepts as "credible" Israel's allegations that the Palestinian Authority was involved in foiled efforts to smuggle weapons to Palestinian territories. State Department Spokesman Richard Boucher said Tuesday U.S. officials are waiting to hear a full explanation from Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, who has an opened an internal investigation into the matter. Israel seized the weapons-laden ship in the Red Sea last week and accused Iran and Palestinian officials of being responsible. The detained captain of the ship, a Palestinian, said the weapons were bound for the Gaza Strip. An Israeli cabinet minister visiting Washington said Tuesday there can be no doubt the weapons were supplied by Iran and were headed to Palestinian fighters and that Mr. Arafat was responsible. Iran's government and Mr. Arafat have both denied involvement. The British-based maritime trade report Lloyd's List is reporting that an Iraqi national is the owner of the boat in question -- the Karine A. It was seized by Israeli commandos in the Red Sea Thursday. The incident comes amid a sharp reduction in Israeli-Palestinian violence. Israeli defense officials say last week was the quietest since the current Palestinian uprising began in September 2000. Meanwhile, European Union Foreign Policy Chief Javier Solana was in Jordan and Egypt Tuesday to build on a recent U.S. mission in the region to bring about an Israeli-Palestinian ceasefire agreement. Mr. Solana is quoted as saying he now sees a bit more hope for ending the conflict. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ( Melanggan ?
