Nampak gaya ada perkembangan baik sikit bab ni.
Tapi tak usah kaji lama2 sangat. Ban ajelah. Memang takleh kawal
punya kalau dibenarkan. Bangsa kapiaq ni, perangai tu kekadang
macam kerbau pendek yg dia makan tu - lebih pada hamba abdi
dibuatnya maid tu.
Satu lagi kalau nak kaji, buat undang2 paksa semua syarikat
mesti membenarkan orang Islam solat jumaat. Pakai budi bicara
memang tak jalan punya. Ni bukan negara jepun atau korea, ni
negara semenanjung tanah melayu - tak kan negara sendiri pun
jadi hamba abdi, nak solat jumaat pun takleh.
Usahkan syarikat kapiaq, tu yg jadi polis, tentera, jaga,
yg bangsa melayu tu, berapa ramai yg takleh solat jumaat.
Ada....jangan heran. Kenapa? Tak percaya aaa...

Non-Muslims can't hire Muslim maid?

PUTRAJAYA, March 11: The Immigration Department is studying the
possibility of disallowing non-Muslims from employing Muslim
maids following reports that some have been asked to undertake
tasks which were against their religion by employers. Its
director-general Datuk Mohd Jamal Kamdi said the measure was
being considered as part of efforts to address weaknesses and
problems in the hiring of foreign domestic helpers.
At present, non-Muslims are allowed to hire Muslim maids but
they are required to sign a contract stipulating that they will
not ask them to handle or cook food deemed haram by the
religion, and that they must also be allowed to perform their
prayers. Muslim domestic helpers must also be willing to work
for non-Muslim employers.
Mohd Jamal said although there were rules regarding the hiring
of domestic helpers by non-Muslim employers, there were still
reports alleging that maids were forced to handle pork, and not
allowed to perform their prayers.
"Since these incidents are occurring, we will have to consider
the possibility of no longer allowing non-Muslims to hire Muslim
domestic helpers," he told reporters after attending the Home
Ministry's monthly gathering.
The ministry also held an open day today, with counters set up
by the Immigration and National Registration Departments to
attend to inquiries by the public.
The abuse of Indonesian maids garnered attention after Indonesia
imposed a temporary freeze in allowing its citizens to go abroad
to work as domestic helpers from March 1.
Although Indonesia said the freeze was to streamline the
training of maids before they were sent overseas, it is believed
that it (the freeze) came about pursuant to cases of domestic
helpers being abused by employers.
Currently, there are about 200,000 foreign domestic helpers,
largely Indonesians, in the country.
Last week, the Immigration Department had warned employers who
abuse their maids that they would be blacklisted and not allowed
to hire such domestic help.
Mohd Jamal said the department was also studying the possibility
of imposing heavier penalties against abusive employers,
including those who did not pay their maids.
"The Home Ministry has asked the police and courts to study
various issues regarding the hiring of foreign domestic helpers,
including penalties against those who contravene the rules and
regulations."
