Yep, I'm not shocked about the push back. Just to stop the hacking / cheating they would have to push it back a little. That is not to mention all the other things that now need to be changed so the 'public' can't mess with things.
I bet a lot of it is the steam stuff that got out and the auth code in particular, the last thing they need is rampant piracy succeeding because of bugs in the auth code not seeing fake keys.
