yes, decals will suck, and some doors, or other stuff.. but as maps will be custom made for this isometric thing, you can workaround most problems: make wide surfaces over other surfaces to avoid Z-fighting.

Rolfhh.!!!. Hehehe...  hollywood solution for that is false perspective,
make a near tree real size, and a very far tree giant :D   ...argh!
