Guys -- this is just another one of the millions of virus emails running amok. As with 99% of them, the sender is spoofed. In all likelihood this simply happens to be a spam virus email originated from some nameless SOB who has nothing to do with Valve or HL, happens to be directed at the mailing list and happens to have been spoofed as a legit registered list member (in this case Erik). Purely coincidental.
