I've got this idea, somebody tell me if it's worth doing, been done,
etc.:

Mod some Entity "E" to spawn its own Scripted_Sequence as a member
variable (analogous to entities which spawn their own sprites,
explosions, etc.).

When "E" detects certain conditions while thinking, or gets triggered
via script, it fires the  Scripted_Sequence, specifying monster name,
walk/run/etc., animations to play, etc.

In short, "E" is a Script-handling monster.
