Fellow Developers, We have taken this issue off of the hlcoders board to be developed on our private wiki. If anyone else is interested in helping Mr. Holt and us design and implement the aforementioned foliage system, feel free to contact me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thank you for your input, and we'll post our progress as is applicable. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Q:* /"A bit OT: But did you advertise this mod on hl2world, because I remember seeing something like this and being amazed." / *A:* We did put a short advert there, which we'll be tearing down for our new developer advertising "campaign" set over the next few weeks. I thank you for your compliment, though.
*Q:* /"I can't answer your question, but I would like to ask how you kept all this so quiet! A new commercial Source game and a professionally-mademod should be all over the headlines, yet this is the first time I've heard of Valhallon?"/ *A:* Well, the modification, /Realms of Valhallon: Age of Campaigns/, is a necessary step in our business plan for our investors to proceed with the commercial MMORPG that we have planned. Before beginning paid production on that project, entitled /Realms of Valhallon: Age of Nations/ (to be liscening the full Source Engine), we'll need to develop and realize our vision for the modification first. The quality of the latter with be the determining factor of whether or not the public would support and desire the former to a degree to warrant the high costs of developing a AAA MMORPG project. Why aren't we "all over the headlines"? We don't want to release information or content on our projects before its ready, and currently we are in the stage of completing our development tools, work pipelines, business strategies, and detailed designs for Age of Campaigns, and are, as I mentioned, soon looking to recruit more developers (currently we have over 50 involved indivuduals, including business, art, and game industry professionals, as well as talented amateurs) to further strengthen each of the Divisions of our projects. I promise you'll hear more from us as our projects become a reality! Thank you for the interest. _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlcoders
