In both the vertexlitgeneric and lightmappedgeneric sample shaders when it
sets the pixel and vertex shaders it refers to the wrong ones.  In the
vertexlitgeneric code it also has the wrong shader include files and you
need to define DX9 for various blocks of code that you need to actually
get compiled in (I'd recomend putting DX9 in the preprocessor definitions
section of the compiler options).
