Just finished Half-Life 2 Episode 2 and I loved it, and the time has come
for us modders to get to work with some of the new tech. Noticing Cinematic
Physics in-game, I wondered how flexible this really is. Any clues on how it
actually works? Me and some pals decompiled an Episode 2 map to take a look
and it seems that there is a model with a set animation to "explode" which
contains all the pieces. Is it true that to use Cinematic Physics we need to
first build the model of the house and cut it into pieces? Seems like a lot
of work. Perhaps there is a generator that takes brush pieces of your house
and cuts them up and creates the model, wouldn't that be handy.
