agreed Matt,
I have posted a number of times about this issue too,
offline mode used to be great because it actually worked, I mean its got to
the point that I have to make sure I run this and that and go offline while
im online and then test everything before I finally really unplug
things....geez i used to be able to just go offline and it would work..While
Valve may not want it to so simple to work offline at least there should be
a better messaging system to tell you if things are actually going to work
offline or not...steam lies about it..it might say %100 but unless you run
all the things you want once to see you wont really know...thats just
retarded..i mean how are we supposed to know that steam things are not
really %100 but in pretend mode %100..i mean when it says %100 and then says
cant run in offline mode..what it really should say is...haha tricked you..
