Is that really a DSL connection? 3MB download? It sounds like a typical cable modem setup to me.
3MB download doesn't mean diddly. Your upload sucks, and is the limiting factor. You might get 8 players, but anymore then that will probably spike and lag. Your box is serious overkill. I ran 8 players on a 80MHz PIII with plenty of cpu to spare.
