We've got the same problem since the update, but on Windows.

We have two boxes, both running Windows 2003 Enterprise Server x64
(man, what a mouthful,) build 1218. One box is running an HL2 DM
server, the other is running an HL2 TDM game, along with a CSS game.

Both the DM and TDM games, after they've been running for a couple of
hours, go from about 4% cpu usuage to around 97%, and make the box
quite unresponsive. I'm forced to go in an quit the srcds processes.

Both srcds installs are via the hldsupdatetool. The process goes
rampant both with '-console', and started from the gui. It happens on
different maps. There's nothing unusual in the log file.

We're forced to shut down our TDM game, since it makes the CSS game on
the same box unplayable.
