Dude, relax... this is why i don't bother with this mailing list... the email had been sent already and was "stuck" at my ISP's server... when I was mailing Alfred it was pretty much real time until my ISP's server got hung up somehow. always an ignorant comment somewhere. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Alexander Kobbevik Sent: Sunday, September 18, 2005 2:21 PM To: hlds@list.valvesoftware.com Subject: RE: [hlds] Lates Update 9-15-05 Broke Clients... > As I write this I see your response regarding IFrames. I do use IFrames, >will try to disable it and see. The good thing with e-mail is that you can actually choose not to send it. Do you see ANY point at all to send this mail? Im sorry, but come on!?! :S -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Joe Rodriguez Sent: 18. september 2005 03:55 To: hlds@list.valvesoftware.com Subject: RE: [hlds] Lates Update 9-15-05 Broke Clients... Alfred, I Have not found a single person that can successfully connect to any server. I've set up a fresh dedicated server w/ CS1.6 totally updated and tried connecting with Vac enabled and disabled both. Still can't connect. Then I installed DOD, can not connect to DOD either. I do use a firewall, totally disabled it to test it out. This is what happens client-side. Will log in to Steam ok, launch the game and will attempt to connect without issues. The Content Server Banner no longer appears but it completes the connection to the server. When MOTD loads up, HL crashes and back to desktop. As I write this I see your response regarding IFrames. I do use IFrames, will try to disable it and see. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Alfred Reynolds Sent: Thursday, September 15, 2005 8:07 PM To: Paladin82; hlds@list.valvesoftware.com Subject: RE: [hlds] Lates Update 9-15-05 Broke Clients... You get "No Steam Logon" when that client has failed to connect to VAC2 properly. Get them to check the various firewall settings described in the help link when you get that error. ----Original Message---- From: Paladin82 [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, September 15, 2005 4:30 PM To: hlds@list.valvesoftware.com Cc: Alfred Reynolds Subject: RE: [hlds] Lates Update 9-15-05 Broke Clients... > This is the error I am seeing for all users on the server. > > Dropped C&C Paladin82 (LGSO) from server > Reason: No Steam logon > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Paladin82 > Sent: Thursday, September 15, 2005 4:15 PM > To: hlds@list.valvesoftware.com > Subject: RE: [hlds] Lates Update 9-15-05 Broke Clients... > > I have the same problem with DoD. > > -Paladin82 > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Joe Rodriguez > Sent: Thursday, September 15, 2005 4:10 PM > To: hlds@list.valvesoftware.com > Subject: [hlds] Lates Update 9-15-05 Broke Clients... > > None of the users can connect to our servers...
