You have to add -game cstrike to the launch properties of the shortcut or batch file for SRCDS.EXE or this will happen. You can't just click on srcds.exe directly and have it work.

Double clicking srcds.exe wont run GUI mode, it looks like it starts up and then immediatly exists. I have a fresh install of the Source Dedicate server.
