It's been my experience that win2k is the better win OS to run a server on.

Im running almost the exact server setup except there HL1 mods. one 32
slot dod1.3 one 13 slot match and one 20 slot HLTV.

Sv_maxrate 12000
Sv_minupdaterate 20
Sv_maxupdaterate 40 I swear by these rate settings. i have tested
many settings over the last 3 years that i have run server HL1 servers.
And ill never run any other settings.
i do however run fedora core 4. which i cannot recommend highly enough.

What is the CPU Usage like when these are running full? And the 100 Tick
Rate could be something to do with it.
