oh and i forgot one thing in my last post. I have a copy of the console
output from the last pub server crash. i has 27 lines of "missing
shutdown fucntion for" the first line then continues "S_init <> :
shutdown <>. If you would like i can send you the jpg. Also, slightly OT
here, but what is the difference between zblock min and zblock max, well
more accurately which extra cvars does zblock max restrict and is it
worth running it on a pub server over zblock min.

There is a more recent version of zblock 2.02 you might want to get. The
earlier versions made some exploits available where players could get rcon
to your server. You can download that here

I am suprised to hear that matties event scripts is crashing your server, I
run it on mine with no problems but then again we don't use the same setup.
I am not convinced that it is matties that is unstable but rather what
people do with it that could cause problems. I use matties for about four
different functions all warnings to people who do things like shoot hhe
hostages, or when they get stuck, or general messages to explain things like
important server rules.

1.01), hlstatsx itself (tho I don't know how) or small stats me min
(again can't see how) that is causing my problems. I think it is most
likely matties event scripts as I have heard that it is a lil unstable.
Is that true? If so what's the problem with it? Also I'm not to sure if
I need the menu for hlstatsx anyway. But I got the impression that it

More troubleshooting, research and help required I think. I know I'm a
bit of a noob but hey unlike a lot of you guys I don't get paid for
this, it's all for fun and I'm sat here typing at some ridiculous hour
of the morn scratching my head. So any of the collective knowledge won't

Are you sure it isn't ptbx in conjunction with another plug in?
Maybe a player control setting in mani, or the settings in
server.cfg conflicting?

All I can suggest is that you do what we all do, remove one

I ran the server with PTBx running with all my other plugins
disabled and it crashed in the time it took me to go to the
bathroom and take a leak :-D . So it is definately PTB that is
the problem. Anyone got any ideas? I have a feelin it's the
config so if someone has a working reasonable config can you send
it to me.

i see where i went wrong i uncommented everything except the ptb 0ff
function. i'll recopy the config file again and see if it works.

no joy it still crashed with the new config, it just took longer. To
answer your question about whether it's a plugin confict. I ran ptb
on
it's own no other plugins loaded and it still crashed. so need to try
something else.

i did make all the right changes to the server and everything is in the
right place. i have tried the ptb and ptb status commands and they did
output something but i don't have an example.
