I'm not trying to be a star. I quit kissing butt many years ago and find I
care less and less every day who I offend. However, after I insulted him, I
did tell him how to get off of the list. I'm not a complete asshole. Only a

this list not realizing what or how a mailing list works. This was the
first list I was on, and I appreciated the people who steered me in the
right direction here and there regarding listserve etiquette. What you
do doesn't help the person, and is a cheap shot. And it certainly isn't
making a star out of you either. It's not as if the same person is
making this mistake for the 10th time. So maybe we can cut them a break?
