Try running one server at 66 tickrate and see if this problem still occurs. This seems to eliminate a large number of problems. (they aren't just limited to doors you know)
Also this fps booster utility ... I assume its a program to adjust the windows timer resolution, and not one of those nasty utils that someone is trying to sell to GSPs that plays with NT5.0/5.1 kernel variables in an attempt to make things "better" and then reverts the variables when the util is closed. I've seen two of those utils and both were junk that were playing around with kernel variables that hardcore IIS optimizers won't even mess with. If anyone on windows really wants to try to optimize their machine, then they need to read some good sources on IIS optimizations. There's several good Books and web articles about it. Hi, We have some minor troubles with our Windows hosted Counter-Strike: Source game servers. After a while (hard to give an exact timeframe) usually one of two days in between, the player models start shaking heavily, especially when walking up stairs or when a playing is striving. We experience this problem on our tickrate 100 Windows hosted servers. We use dual AMD Opteron servers for hosting these game servers. We also use a FPS booster utility to ensure that the game servers run at at 512 FPS (stable). Does anyone else experience this problem and is there a solution for it? When we simply reboot the game server it is okay, but after one of two days it starts again. Would be nice if there is a more permanent solution. Thank you for your reply. -- Kind regards, Hans Vos _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds
