How long has Source been out on the streets? ;-) I would say that in about 18 to 24 months time SrcTV might be reliable, by then the world of Source would be a dinosaur.
They look to have dropped VAC2 like it was on fire. Every new person who joins will look at the wall until he does it so its very important that he does it. We have been trying really hard to get the relays reliable but it is crashing so often and is becoming so frustrating, we have organised big games with shoutcasting and almost always, we lose sourceTV. Very frustrating, god I hope they fix it soon -----Original Message----- From: Rupert Walden [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, August 14, 2006 8:11 AM To: hlds@list.valvesoftware.com Subject: [hlds] SourceTV Relay This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Hi, I've been trying to run a Source TV relay server - on a different server box to the game server - recently with a person in spectator on the server, who is pushing his use key to grab the focus of the camera to be a "camera man" how ever the source TV relay just sits in a wall for anyone who connects and all they can see is this wall for the entire match even though the cameraman is pushing use frequently. I have read through the WIKI on source tv at http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Source_tv but it doesn't seem to have any details on why this bug is happening if anyone has any idea how to fix this please reply..
