Firstly can I commend Mani for what he provided in the early years of admin and games plugins, we have used all of the known mani/beetles/SM but we had issues with mani that eventually forced us to put all eggs in one basket and go with SM. Mani at the end of the day is for some and not others and visa versa for SM & Beetles. With that said we are happy with the diversity of SM and will stay using SM for the see able future. And with that Simiancage commends all coders that have progressed gaming & Admining what it is today. Its just a shame that there now coding games for consoles and porting to the pc>>>>>>> bring back the cs16 days! Stats would prove otherwise. Doing a quick check on game-monitor.com shows MAP being used on almost twice the amount of servers compared to SM. -----Original Message----- From: hlds-boun...@list.valvesoftware.com [mailto:hlds-boun...@list.valvesoftware.com] On Behalf Of msleeper Sent: Monday, February 22, 2010 8:47 PM To: Half-Life dedicated Win32 server mailing list Subject: Re: [hlds] Mani site down / DNS problem And SourceMod has been out for how long? And has done all of that and more from the beginning, right? 2003 called and wants it's server administration software back. Stick with SM, nobody worth their salt uses Mani.
