Just to be absolutely clear, having played TF2 since beta, I can assure you 
this is being done maliciously. In fact, the night ended with the person doing 
it about 3 times in a row and people just left the server.
We've had these in the past, it used to be as easy as spamming 
connect/disconnect messages with really long nicknames. We got:

*         sv_max_connects_sec

*         sv_max_connects_window

*         sv_max_connects_sec_global
to combat the original exploit. I'm just letting people know there may be some 
new exploit that also overflows the reliable buffer.  So keep an eye out .

No, its only a typo. And I don't think Snapshot overflow is an exploit.
