also, I would not count on the -ping boost command working correctly with freebsd, as it probably is geared towards the linux kernel, not the bsd one. for example, the old pingbooster program did not work very well on freebsd, as it was limited to 50 fps due to the bsd kernel. that probably will not change until leon writes some code to be directed directly at freebsd. but also of note is that 50fps is perfectly good for an internet server, its lan servers that it only starts to get noticable.
