why should it be any cores? why should you symlink? the loadable kernel object linux.ko will only look in /usr/compat/linux/ for linux libraries and programs. at least it should.... ive been running the server on the system for a long time. the only time it cores, its becouse i upgrade something without shuting down hlds first. or when there was exploits in adminmod that caused the server to segfault, but that was ages ago...
