While you might have gdb installed doesn't mean that hl automagically
find it...

hi,
i've installed hlds on a redhat linux 8.0 box.
made all the steps described in readme's and howto's.
but when i now type ./hlds_run the server crashes immediatly, the only
error messages i get are :
[root@admin hlds_l]# ./hlds_run
Auto-restarting the server on crash
Add "-debug" to the ./hlds_run command line to generate a debug.log to
help with solving this problem Wed Jan 29 18:30:31 CET 2003: Server Died
