I agree there.
what is the purpose of sv_logbans if it doesn't log bans?  I see watching
console something about kicked for past cheating offenses...but never listed
in the logs.

Honestly, I don't care if Valve keeps track of the list themselves.  If
someone registers a cheat or is picked up for past cheating violations.  I
WANT IT IN MY LOGS!
Its my server, if I want to ban their IP or keep watch for them connecting
under multiple wonids.  I at least need something to go on.  Name and IP can
help watch for them bypassing the VAC latter.
