I agree there. what is the purpose of sv_logbans if it doesn't log bans? I see watching console something about kicked for past cheating offenses...but never listed in the logs.
Honestly, I don't care if Valve keeps track of the list themselves. If someone registers a cheat or is picked up for past cheating violations. I WANT IT IN MY LOGS! Its my server, if I want to ban their IP or keep watch for them connecting under multiple wonids. I at least need something to go on. Name and IP can help watch for them bypassing the VAC latter. thanks :) dan ----- Original Message ----- From: "m0gely" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Saturday, August 02, 2003 3:06 PM Subject: Re: [hlds_linux] VAC messages? > sol.greyfox wrote: > > > HLDS no longer logs VAC kicks or bans in order to prevent banning of their > > wonid's; they take care of that for you. > > > > /fox > > Actually that really sucks...
