I am really sorry to be a pain in the ass, but okay so baseically, I create
a .bmp then make it into a sprite using a converter. Now I have the sprite
and where ever I place it, it will follow people around, so I think I should
do the easy way to do it using stripper2, looking at stripper2 I don't
really understand it that well, but continueing on I have 2 more questions
1. How does the increase of the sprite happen ? Right now I am using the
csnation sprite wizard to convert a bmp into a sprite, except the maximum
size of the bmp can only be 256 pixels in any direction, and in the server
the thing looks much bigger
2. How would I put it in every single map, would I need to have like a
custom file coresponding with every map ?
3. Thanks a lot for your help
4. Can you please tell me the easiest way put it in and position it, I am
going to create a sprite using the sprite wizard and all I want to do is put
it in the air near each of the spawn points

1. all sprite's will follow you/ always look the same no matter whare you
look
at it from
2. stripper2 is a easy way to do it takes less work and you can also add
basic
clear brush based entity's (trigger_hurt's and whatnot) stripper2 can have
trouble with making some entity's but the best way the way i like is the
ripent tool that came with zoner's custom build of the hl compile tools it
extract's all the entity info into a txt file and you can edit it then use
the tool in reinsert it with the stuff you added or edited also ripent
edited
map can be passed around easy and the server admins dont need to use any
3rd
part plugins to use it.

when adding banners i like to make a banner model and put it on a wall it
looks like a part of the map itself.

also a little help with ripent you can decompile the map then add/remove
items
in it then look at the .map and extract the entity from it

ripent is a fun thing to mess with for example i converted de_dust to a DOD
bombing map
