Hello all. I'm am trying to download the DoD:S files with the steam linux updater tool. For some reason or another it wont go past " Checking/Installing 'Base Source Shared Models' version 3 "
I'm using this command to start the tool.... ./steam -command update -game dods -dir /usr/local/games/srcds_dod/ -username myuser -password mypass Things I've tried: - I've also tried using -verify_all I get no difference in result. - I've tried deleting the InstallRecord.blob. - I've tried deleting the whole srcds_dod directory. - I've tried restarting the tool probably about 15 times now. Each time I get here and it just sits there, I've let it sit on a couple of occasions now for more than 15 minutes with no change in the result. What am I doing wrong? - There is plenty of space on the drive, more than 5gb left on this partition. - I have access to the area I'm downloading to. - There are no versions of DoD:S or CS:S running on this machine.
