Mmh, thats a bad joke with this update. I tested some older kernels, upgraded to newest and verified that the correct glibc is on the server. No chance to get the steam-update to run without a segmentation fault. A segmentation fault is as a I now, if a pointer points to invalid memory. That seems as a programming mistake and not a mistake with a wrong kernel-version.
The solution is, to become the updated server-files from another source as with this tool. Is there a place where I can download this sever-fils manually?
