Can only speak about amd64 servers (1.6): If (_if !_) hlds successfully loads the vac-module from speakeasy, VAC is active till next restart/crash. As we restart all the gameservers daily, it's some type of gamble if they are secured or not :|.
[Sorry for OT} If someone realized some kind of php(rcon) VAC check, it would be nice if he could give me a note about it. parker ----- Ursprüngliche Mail ---- Von: sykes <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> An: hlds_linux@list.valvesoftware.com Gesendet: Freitag, den 29. The usual cause is timeouts on map change, while the server - reconnects to register to VAC.. from our end it looks like capacity problems with VAC servers.. :o( S. > Hi, > > I've also been having problems lately with our CS 1.6 servers - they > load up and secure themselves, but after a few hours VAC is either > switching itself off, or there's a new cheat that takes it off. > > Either way it makes it hard to maintain cheat free servers if > cheaters can just disable the anti cheat... > > Has anyone else had this problem? > > -Scott > > _______________________________________________ > To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list > archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux -- ^`'~=-.,__,.-=~'`^`'~=-.,__,.-=~'`^`'~=-.,__,.-=~'`^`'~=-.,__,.-=~'`^ + L A D N E T webmail Unix or DIE! +^`'~=-.,__,.-=~'`^`'~=-.,__,.-=~'`^`'~=-.,__,.-=~'`^`'~=-.,__,.-=~'`^ -= www.ladnet.org =- _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux ___________________________________________________________ Der frühe Vogel fängt den Wurm.
