Marcel, are you saying that the   writeid and writeip commands are in your
server.cfg file and the banned steamID's are still dissapearing from your
banned_user.cfg  when you kill the process.

if those commands are in the server.cfg file, then all of the steamID's
should remain in the banned_user.cfg file unless you delete them.

what Distro are you using Marcel.   also are you issuing the kill command
from the console or an SSH or telnet client.

these commands are executed after "banid ...." and then the bans are in
banned_user.cfg.

BUT when I kill the srcds process with "kill SRCDS_PID" (SRCDS_PID = pid
of srcds process!) the file is empty. Try it.
