It seems that thoughout this year the performance given by srcds on the same hardware has been getting worse and worse, giving fluctuating server fps and causing lag. I know that a lot of people have had to reduce their slots to < 24 to try and get any sort of decent performance, even on 66 tick. Now I keep my server up-to-date and the hardware hasn't changed, and quite frankly I am starting to get really frustated with how srcds runs! If there are certain versions of libraries etc that are recommended to have then please tell us!
