Oh my god...

Did you consider that maybe they run their servers on 64bit because of
better berformance. VAC1 is poor anticheat anyway, so think that you
were a server provider, what would you do yourself:

- Host 64bit servers with best performance, best hitreg and low CPU usage
- Host 32bit servers with lower performance, VAC2 enabled and high CPU usage

Please, use some other anticheat, VAC is the primary anticheat on CS so
that makes it the most hacked one.. No matter what you ever do, it
always have secure hacks.

Or then just code your own anticheat, like we did -->

It's funny that 64bit binaries aren't supported, yet e-frag STILL use
them.
Servers of a friends haven't had
VAC on them for well over a week now and e-frag won't fix it. They claim
it's "VALVEs problem"... Yet i've told
my friend, tell them it's THEIR problem and they need to use 32bit
binaries.
Server companies who know
jack about how to run the server properly annoy me so much. I got banned
from their silly forums because
I told them how to fix the error, but they don't like being told what is
right. Just like to let paying customers
suffer by having terrible support and no VAC of any sort on their
servers.
Sort it out e-frag, your servers should
be using VAC2, that means using 32bit binaries!

and LinuxPenguin... unlucky on that matter, I think vac is totally
dead now.
So it's 32bit all the way.

So if i run 32 bit binary on a AMD64(with a 64 bit OS) is that gonna
downgrade the performance of my hlds server?

Some ppl said here that its better to run the 32 bit binary on a 32 bit
OS.
True/False?

False, imo. At least your OS and any supporting processes will gain
whatever advantages there are from a 64bit processor.
