Memtest is downloaded and burned on a cd-rom - http://www.memtest.org/ -
download and burn a cd-rom - start your server with this cd and it will run
memory checks ! - A great tool !
if you dont get any errors - then its no problems with your memory cards !

The Voltage is displayed in your bios !

Good Luck !

Peter

How can I run memtest and check voltage? I am using fedora.

http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/TechnicalResources/0,,30_182_871_13118,00.html
AMD Athlon™ 64 Processors Driver Version 1.60.01 for Linux 2.6.

I would like to install these cpu drivers and rebuilt my kernel. How I can
do that? I have read that "readme" file too, but I am not sure how to
rebuilt my 2.6.22.5-76.fc7 kernel now!?

I have linux fedora kernel 2.6.22. I am running counter-srike 1.6 server.
fps 1000, ping 2-8.
My problem is that sometimes there comes "Timed out" and players will be
kicked from server.

I have AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ and Asus AM2 K8M890. I have read these but i
am not sure how I should rebuild my kernel now:

If "Timed out" is displayed then it can be because of many things ..

- the server did crach, can be corrupted files, hardware failures.
- autoupdating because of new verion realese.
- loading the server to hard so it restart treads ( I have never
experienced
this ).

run memtest and check voltage, if its craching then its switching to
certain
maps - remove thouse maps.

Good Luck.

It is mentioned in the forum of steambans. But the sollution is to add
'port 27016' in the server.cfg. (Or the coresponding port for that server)
Dont know why it will not work without it. Feels like a programming
problem in the plugin, but they will show up when added. At least the hlds
servers.

There seems to be a problem with the current srcds version (2.5.1) of the
steambans. None of my CSS servers shows up and sb_info shows 'L 09/11/2007
- 11:01:39: [SBSRC] Client status: 0 (Error info: 0-0) Pending requests:
431'

I just added the CSS servers so I dont know if the 'port XXXXX' addition
in the server.cfg will work.
