when I started watching it when this first came up the pings in the server browser compared to hlsw were different. In game it seemed to be lower when it was doing its spike. However since the last patch i haven't even noticed as big of a spike in the ping. Its about 10ms difference, if that, but i haven't checked in game if they line up or not.
