"sv_maxcmdrate" = "101" ( def. "66" )

The actual default is 33, right? Or am I mistaken? Yes I know you can't run at 100 without modifications, I just set this for fun.

Then there are a couple that I didn't set in my config and I have no idea how they got set. Like this;

"sv_unlockedchapters" = "99" ( def. "1" )

Maybe it's set somewhere that I don't know about, like the loaded map. I just don't know.

Also, don't forget about the console command "differences", which shows you
the differences between what your configuration is and the defaults.

That said, I think a few of them are BS. There are some mismatches between
what the cvarlist output says the defaults are and what the "differences"
command gives.

What I do is this......

Keep a additional SRCDS install that is used for nothing other than
periodically retrieving cvars (after updates). In the console type "log
cvarlist cvarlist.txt". This will output all of the available cvars with
their default values into a file names cvarlist.txt. Most of these will
have
their own descriptions. You will want to use a plain, vanilla install with
no mods, no server.cfg, or anything as these will add their cvars into
this
list and scew the output.

Then to create your server.cfg....

Only put the cvars for which you have changed for their defaults into your
server.cfg. I for example, only have a hostname, steam server id, alltalk,
server rates, and disabled respawn in my server.cfg, nothing else.

I hope this helps.

  Is there a decent example TF2 server.cfg that has all of the new bells
and whistles that have been added the past few months? Specifically
looking for one with built-in voting stuff, I could do without the
replay configs but if not I can just edit them out. The server.cfg I
have been using is way back from 2007 so I'm sure it could use an
overhaul. Thanks.
