Hi there guys, I've read in the wiki that SteamCMD uses SteamPipe which uses http as its main protocol.
I've also read that I can setup an HTTP proxy server so that if I run multiple servers I can save bandwidth. So my question is: Let's say I have an HTTP proxy server setup using Squid listening on 127.0.0.1:4545, how can I configure SteamCMD to use this proxy? Would putting http_proxy=http://127.0.0.1:4545/ export http_proxy in /etc/bash.bashrc or http_proxy=http://127.0.0.1:4545/ in /etc/environment do the trick, or do I need to add it as a command line argument to steamcmd.sh ? Thanks in advance and sorry if this has already been asked. -- Dimitris Zarras (feugatos) CEID Warfare | CS:GO, TF2 | ceidwarfare.net _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
