Yes, to a great extent. But I'm applying them to Xorg-6.9.0

-no-pie didn't help me. I was up the wrong tree. Look at

The vitriol is nearly as heavy as a vim/emacs religious war, but
the bottom line is that the DRI stuff has textrels in it which are
not Kosher for pie/pic systems.
