There appears to be a bug in the glibc compilation instructions:
1. Is the --host=${target} REALLY necessary, taking into account that
target is not defined anywhere.
2. I get this annoying error about
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `rpcsvc/bootparam_prot.h', needed by
`/tools/include/rpcsvc/bootparam_prot.h'. Stop.
make[2]: Leaving directory `/mnt/hlfs/sources/glibc-2.3.6/sunrpc'
make[1]: *** [sunrpc/install-headers] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/mnt/hlfs/sources/glibc-2.3.6'
make: *** [install-headers] Error 2
which should not occur. Anyone ever ran into this?
