Hi,
it seems, that the new location of the "file" package is
http://www.darwinsys.com/file/ with sources at
ftp://ftp.astron.com/pub/file/file-4.23.tar.gz (with mirror
ftp://ftp.fu-berlin.de/unix/tools/file/).
I have already contacted the author, so maybe he'll change the link in
the FSF's directory to the new location.
Robert: do you have access to the LFS tree to change it as well or do I
have to mail to their mailing list separately?
