Long time listener, first time caller. I have just been diving into ruby
and I feel the need to blog so I hit up the hobix. I have issues though:
When the installer or I try to hobix setup_blogs my machine tells me:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ hobix setup_blogs
/usr/local/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/hobix/commandline.rb:25:in `join': can't
convert nil into String (TypeError)
from /usr/local/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/hobix/commandline.rb:25
from /usr/local/bin/hobix:2:in `require'
from /usr/local/bin/hobix:2
and then I cry.
But that is okay, I will get through it. I think I may be having issues
with Debian though, as this is an ubuntu box. I made the mistake of using
the hippie packages for ruby and irb, etc. It took me only 10 minutes to
figure out this was bad. I removed them and installed from source but I
can't help feeling like this may be a factor in the error above.
Does anyone have any advice, or know what is wrong?
