At USDA the only supported production Linux is RedHat. (We developed the app using Ubuntu on Slicehost.)
We are using Oracle 11G as the back-end to our first major application written in Hobo. We have uploaded the PDF of our tested instructions to this forum. Hope it is of use to someone else. Thanks to Tola on the Barquin team for putting this together and Byron and Jo on the ops team for their support! Let us know of any errata and we will update it.
