Hi Arman I have serveral Hobo apps on Dreamhosts.
The first one I had lots of problems with especially non-standard gems. Two Things sorted this out: 1) Us the mod_rails (Phusion option) you don't need to touch fastcgi etc. 2) Follow the DreamHost wiki page on setting up your account to use your own local gems. With item 1) DH support and I had pent several days playing with dispact.fcgi etc an could not get it working, switched to Phusion, worked first time.
