The wiki page describes my current situation and why I am stuck. If anyone could please help me get on from here. It's really some pretty trivial Hobo stuff that has tripped me up I'm sure. "The idea is to generate a log for the templating/compile phase into / log/template_environment.log Even this approach doesn’t generate any log file :( I guess I am not even using Hobo correctly from the browser!? Maybe Hobo doesn't generate templates for an initial Hobo project with only a User model navigating the index page?"
