Ok, I need to be able to do permissions on a per-field basis. The view check has this, but the rest of the fields do not. Can this be modified? Additionally, I'd like lack of permissions to view a field to result in that field not being displayed, without the need for a #@%$ if="¤t_user.can_view(this)" because that's just not DRY. If checks aren't put in, you get a 'view of non-viewable field' error..
