Perhaps this: http://bit.ly/mwJHOn for the Facebook, etc. auth?
You know, a solid forum hobo project would be good for the community. Forums are something that have a lot of moving parts and few get right in custom iterations other than the "big names" out there. Every custom simple forum out there I've seen just leaves a sour taste in my mouth when integrated into a CMS or framework. It would surely be an interesting project to develop something that was a best of breed or a cross of phpBB, SMF, vBulletin and Invision Power Board (I guess most prefer IPB if they can pay). Noticed on stackoverflow a discussion (http://bit.ly/irM25b) and mention of a couple of apps that might prove good examples. I dunno, it seems like a nice core addition where a wizard or gem could pop a forum addition into your hobo app if one would need that for their application / site. Seems common and desirable enough to merit some effort. I might look into this. Thanks for the links. On May 17, 1:46 pm, Mark Sobkowicz <[email protected]> wrote: > One was posted not that long ago.
