There are a couple of way to solve this.
One. add to the environments/production.rb file
config.action_mailer.default_url_options = { :host => 'localhost' }
Changing localhost to whatever your production host is.
In your mailer ie user_mailer.rb set the host just prior to sending the
mail with the mail statement like this
@host = Rails.env == 'production' ? "<production server>" : "localhost"
mail( :subject => "#{app_name} -- forgotten password",
:to => user.email_address )
and I'm sure there are others.
