Hi Desi -
Nice to hear you...
:)
You sound so much like my friend Marianne, who is also from the Netherlands...
Sorry you do not like PureVoice. Been using it for a couple of years and still find it the best recorder there in terms of sound quality. What i found is that the sort of mic one uses makes a difference... in the beginning, someone told me i sounded like i was talking through a tin can... probably true.
I switched last fall to a usb mic & headphones - one that does not use the sound card - and find it better. The one i have is by Plantronix - there are others that are just as good.
Another thing that could make a difference is the speakers... The speakers on belle are adequate, the ones on my laptop poor, and the one's that came with the yogini computer are tiny Altec speakers, but crystal clear amazing sound... (and there is a subwoofer that came with the computer that does a lot for the low ends)...
When i was making the sound recordings for ALMS, the sound engineer gave me some mics to test, too.. They all produced different quality sounds.
Well, that's probably more than anyone wanted to know.
Anyway, nice to hear you, and Lobster as well.
love and peace,
joyce

Hi Lob and all,
Here's a voicemail of me using pure voice.
I really think the sound quality sucks.
Anyone know a link to a download for a freeware dictation buddy?
Love,
Desi
