No.
You would not be responsible
This is why we set up insurance.
A treasurer is someone with a stable address
but monies are managed by group authorization
So anybody can put money in
but it would take several people to allocate funds.
In fact you would not be dealing with money directly
but just authorizing the allocation (with others) . . .

In order to qualify for funding, and to apply for insurance
we would have to have a legal standing (eg charity, foundation, trust
etc)
To apply for some sort of international legal status or EU or US
we would apply for funding to do so and insurance.
For example some funding bodies provide insurance
so they grant us money (which we spend on their insurance)
These are the realities and practicalities.
Most such foundation work does not require much time or effort . . .

That is why I wrote to Wellcome who have assets of several billions and
a staff of 500 - they should know about this sort of thing . . .

We also have to vote you in once we have members

We will not go into debt
that can be against our constitution
Insurance ensures that officers ARE not personally liable
for the actions of Laxmi Foundation
In fact they will only benefit in training and resources.

It is precisely BECAUSE you are not the treasurer type and
indeed freeflow by passes much of this that you are ideal.
Anyway it is not a many life time commitment - for now
we are just an idea floating towards reality . . .
