Wonderful first effect ts . . .
You can get the the plugin from www.curl.com
and then you can join us at curlchat (another bonus)

When I first mentioned this language on HolyGeek it was after more
than a year of researching computer languages
I was looking at the mainstream, the forgotten, the experimental,
that still in the research stage.

Programming is not easy but it will become the new 'computer literacy'

There is no reason why it should be hard anymore.
We need languages that are easier for us to say
what we require the computer to do.

It is why I am proposing 'ask'

What is ASK?
Ask is a theoretical language NOT designed by programmers.
It utilises qualities of fun and ease of use
inspired by the child centered languages of Logo, Drape and Squeak
It utilises Games design systems as a model of simple commands
producing complex functions.
Uniquely it recognizes the need for integration with an AI search engine.
It believes the undelying language is irrelevant and is best served
by a language integrated with the CPU (if this should become available)
Designing a computer language in itself
might seem as miraculous as Uroboous
the alchemical serpent who gives birth to himself
It is common practice.
A language is written in another language
sufficiently for the new language to be designed in itself

>do check it out if you get a chance ...
>i find myself still being mesmerized by the ripples. ;)
>may have to finger a way to use this as my background.

:-)
Great stuff . . .

>and you can use the mouse pointer as "waterbug" to
>disturb the surface in real time.

>Curl is way kewl man!!!

certainly is so
Before Ask or similar become available
curl is the best I have come across
. . . unless you know better :-)

>i haven't a clue what i'm doing ... yet!
>but my head is reeling with the possibilities
>of this language.
>real-time interactions with one-another ...
>using text and graphics.
>;)

>-ts-

Thought you might like it ts
:-)
That sounds like fun . . .
